ACC's cement despatches up

ACC reported an increase of 7.30 per cent in its despatches in June at 1.91 mn tonne. It had despatches of 1.78 mn tonne during the same month in 2010.In June, this year, the company also registered a growth of 6.18 per cent in cement production at 1.89 mn tonne, up from 1.78 mn tonne in the year-ago period. ACC's cumulative despatches during the January-June period of this year stood at 12.18 mn tonne as against 10.88 mn tonne during 2010, thus registering a rise of 11.95 per cent.
