Dalmia Cement's plant in Belgaum, Karnataka, is expected to be operational by March 2014. With an investment of Rs 1,300 crore, the plant will have a total production capacity of 25 lakh tonne per year. Currently, about 5 per cent of the company's market share sales comes from Karnataka, as compared to about 14 per cent each from Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
