Emami Cement files for IPO

Emami Cement has filed draft papers with SEBI to raise Rs 10 bn through an initial public offering (IPO). Besides a sale offer of the same size by the company's existing promoters and shareholders, the IPO comprises of fresh issuance of shares worth Rs 5 bn. The money will be used to clear few debts and for other general corporate purposes.
