UltraTech Cement commissions units in Odisha and Chhattisgarh

UltraTech Cement has announced the completion of its cement and grinding units in Hirmi, Chhattisgarh, and Cuttack, Odisha.

The Hirmi factory has a brownfield cement capacity of 1.30 mtpa, while the Cuttack unit has a greenfield grinding capacity of 2.80 mtpa. The relocation is part of the company's continuous greenfield and brownfield development.

The plants' commissioning brings the company's overall cement manufacturing capacity in India to 126.95 mtpa.
