Caliber Mining Extends Rally After Strong IPO Debut

Caliber Mining and Logistics shares extended their rally as the stock rose 17 per cent to Rs 616 on the BSE in intra?day trade amid heavy volumes on Monday. The stock had made a strong debut on Friday, closing at a premium of 25 per cent to its issue price of Rs 424, and with the intra?day gains the listing premium stood at 45 per cent against the issue price. A combined 19.23 million (mn) equity shares changed hands.

The company raised Rs four point five billion (bn) through the initial public offering, comprising a fresh issue of nine point four million (mn) shares aggregating Rs four billion (bn) and an offer for sale of one point two million (mn) shares worth Rs 500 million (mn). The issue had been priced in a band of Rs 402–Rs 424 per share. Demand was robust, with an overall subscription of 146.64 times, according to exchange data.

Subscription was led by non?institutional investors, whose reserved portion was subscribed 267.36 times, while qualified institutional buyers subscribed 240.71 times and the retail category subscribed 41.15 times. Trading was active, with intra?day quotes showing the stock as much as 15 per cent higher at one point even as the benchmark index posted modest gains. Observers noted strong investor appetite.

The order book rose by 68 per cent to Rs 95.5 billion (bn) as of May 2026, supporting revenue visibility with an order?book?to?sales ratio near five point six for FY26.
