Nredcap and Enercon have been allotted a 208-acre site in Anantapur district to for setting up a 45 MW wind power project by the Andhra Pradesh Government. The allotment was made on lease for 25 years. The state cabinet, made the allotment as part of its policy to encourage renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power.
