Fresh bidding for Tamil Nadu´s UMPP

The ministry of power will start fresh bidding for two ultra mega power plants (UMPP) in Tamil Nadu and Odisha ending the two-year-long bidding process. The decision has been a result of private companies pulling out of the process, and public sector units NTPC and NHPC emerging as the only bidders.
