Power demand touches record 11,400 MW in MP

Power distribution companies of Madhya Pradesh recorded an all-time high power supply in December. On December 23, 2016, the demand went above 11,400 MW, the highest in the state´s history. Of this, maximum power was obtained from the Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project. Around 3,000 MW was contributed by the state-owned thermal power stations.
