Power grid to aid two plants in Andhra Pradesh

Plans are afoot to set up a power grid in the town of Ramakrishnapuram in the Srikakulam district with the authorities conducting surveys in the mandal. The Rs 750 crore project will be set up to supplement power lines for the proposed coal-based power plants at both Kakarapalli and Sompeta. The project will come up on 150 acre in the town.
