Renewable Driver
Jeyakumar Janakaraj, Adani´s Australia Head, is making it large with big plans. He wants the company to become one of the biggest renewable energy developers in Australia. And, how? The company has identified 650 MW of large-scale solar projects in Australia. Adani has been looking for solar projects in both Queensland and South Australia and has now identified the first four projects in its emerging portfolio - with two solar projects totalling 250 MW in Queensland and two totalling 400 MW in South Australia. With the aim to become a leading generator of renewable power in Australia, according to Janakaraj as reported, Adani will also leverage its experience in India, where it has a much more ambitious target to build 10 GW of solar by 2022. This is part of India´s target of building 100 GW of solar by the same time. These projects will include the construction of huge solar parks in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Definitely, Janakaraj is making India proud in the country and internationally.
