ACME Arm Gets Rs 4.74 Bn Compensation for Rajasthan Solar Project

Aklera Power Technology, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has secured Rs 4.74 billion as change-in-law compensation for its 250 MW solar project in Rajasthan. The approval follows regulatory revisions that affected project costs, prompting the company to seek financial adjustment under the change-in-law provisions.
The compensation will help offset additional expenditure arising from statutory and policy changes introduced after the project’s commissioning. ACME Solar noted that the decision will support the financial viability of the plant and ensure continued power supply under its agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
The company added that the ruling reinforces regulatory clarity for renewable developers operating in high-capacity solar parks across the state.
