Engineers India Bags A Rs 2.22-Bn Contract From HPCL

Engineers India (EIL) has bagged a Rs 2.22-billion contract from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL). 

The contract involves project management consultancy (PMC) services for the lube modernisation and bottom upgradation (LMBU) project, which is to be completed in 36 months. 

EIL is a leading engineering consultancy and technology licensing firm specialising in hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, fertilisers, metallurgy, and infrastructure sectors. The company also has a DSIR-recognised R&D centre. 

As of 31 December 2024, the Government of India holds a 51.32 percent stake in EIL.
