RateGain Unveils SoHo, an AI-Powered Social Media Platform for Hotels

RateGain Travel Technologies (RateGain), a global provider of AI-driven SaaS solutions for the travel and hospitality industry, has announced the launch of SoHo: Social for Hospitality, the rebranded identity of BCV. The platform is designed to help hotels transform social media into a revenue-generating channel in an era defined by guest-led journeys.

For over a decade, BCV supported hotels through brand-led strategies. However, evolving traveller behaviour has made guest journeys more fragmented and guest-driven, often leaving hotels with disconnected tools and missed engagement opportunities. According to WTM research, 62 per cent of travellers make booking decisions based on online content, while 72 per cent are influenced by creator and influencer content.

SoHo addresses this gap by integrating AI-powered technology with expert services, creating a unified platform for content creation, publishing, engagement, reputation management, influencer marketing, and performance tracking. This comprehensive command centre enables hoteliers to maximise every digital touchpoint and turn social interactions into measurable revenue outcomes.

Built specifically for the hospitality industry, SoHo allows hotels to leverage social media as a key driver of discovery, trust, and conversion. As the guest journey shifts between social, search, and metasearch channels, SoHo ensures consistent engagement and reputation management across all stages — from inspiration to booking.

Commenting on the launch, Carla Shaw, General Manager, SoHo, RateGain, said, “As hotels shift from a brand-led funnel to today’s guest-led journey, social has become the command centre of influence. Guests now discover, validate, and decide in a single scroll. With SoHo, we help hoteliers harness this new reality, turning discovery into trust, trust into equity, and equity into bookings. This rebrand is not just a change in name, but a recognition of how the funnel has been rewritten and a commitment to help hotels thrive in a world where social proof drives revenue.”

Adding further, Bhanu Chopra, Founder and Managing Director, RateGain, stated, “SoHo is not just another social tool; it is the only hospitality-first solution that combines the world’s richest travel dataset with AI to make every guest interaction measurable and revenue-generating. Social is now the interactive layer where trust is built and decisions are made, and with SoHo we are giving hoteliers clarity, confidence, and the ability to turn every interaction into revenue.”
