This strategic collaboration aims to enhance grid connectivity, operational efficiency, and energy reliability, ensuring seamless power supply to consumers across the state.

A Landmark in Power Modernisation Bihar’s rising energy demand posed significant challenges for SBPDCL, necessitating urgent modernisation to ensure uninterrupted and efficient power distribution. Schneider Electric’s cutting-edge EcoStruxure Grid solutions have played a pivotal role in overcoming these challenges by integrating real-time monitoring, automation, and advanced grid management capabilities.

Key Deployments and Technological Advancements As part of the project, Schneider Electric has established: A State-of-the-Art Command-and-Control Centre and a Disaster Recovery Centre for real-time grid monitoring and decision-making. Deployment of 305 Ring Main Units (RMUs) to enhance power distribution reliability. Installation of 550 Fault Passage Indicators (FPIs) on overhead lines to improve fault detection and response times.
