S&S Power Subsidiary Wins Rs 80 mn Order from Siemens Energy

S & S Power Switchgear Equipment Limited (SSPSE), a wholly owned subsidiary of S & S Power Switchgear Limited, has received a purchase order from Siemens Energy India Limited for the supply of isolators for the KCC Wagdari package in Maharashtra. The company announced the award in a filing to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange and provided details in an annexure to the submission. The purchase order was described as being awarded by a domestic entity and the contract relates to supply of isolators.

The filing stated an order value of more than Rs 80 mn, converted from the figure quoted in crores, and the annexure also records an order with a value of over Rs 50 mn. Delivery schedules for the contract are expected to fall in the next financial year and the company indicated that logistics and execution plans will follow the standard contractual timelines. The submission specified that there is no promoter or promoter group interest in the entity that awarded the order and that the contract does not constitute a related party transaction.

Company executives characterised the award as a significant win that builds on the existing relationship with Siemens Energy India Limited and said it reinforces the group's position in the supply of high voltage switchgear components. The contract is intended to support the KCC Wagdari package and to contribute to the subsidiary's order book in the coming months. The scope is confined to supply and does not include installation or commissioning within the details provided.

The information was stated to have been filed under Regulation 30 of the Listing Regulations read with the relevant SEBI circular and will be uploaded on the corporate website. Stakeholders were notified through the stock exchange filings and the company secretary signed the disclosure on behalf of the board. The company said it will provide further contract-specific updates as required by regulatory obligations.
