Sterling & Wilson subsidiary bags Nigerian order
SWRE is a renewable engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions provider. Reliance Industries' new energy arm, Reliance New Energy Ltd holds a 40% stake in Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy (SWRE).
Bayo Adelabu announced that the deal will provide Nigeria with 961 MWp (megawatt peak) of solar power and 455 MWh (megawatt hours) of battery storage.
"Sun Africa has committed to delivering 961 MWp of solar PV generation infrastructure and 455 MWh of battery energy storage systems, totaling $2.2 billion. Collaborating with Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Limited as our EPC partner is pivotal, ensuring successful execution of the project's initial phase," Bayo Adelabu said in his post on 19 November.
