Kubota's next-generation of its largest compact excavator, the 8.4-metric-tonne KX080-5 comes with a slew of new features. Kubota gave the cab of the fifth-generation excavator a new interior design and convenient functions. Some new features are: Expanded glass area enables operators to monitor both edges of the dozer blade and the bucket can be viewed through the skylight above when unloading. LED work lights with turn-off delay ensure that the lights shut off within 30 seconds to 2 minutes after the engine stops so the operator can exit the cab safely.
