Cement maker Ramco Cements recently completed a significant upgrade at its Kolimigundla cement plant in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district. The focal point of this improvement was de-bottlenecking of the Pyro processing system, a critical aspect of the production process. As a result, the revised clinkerisation capacity surged to 3.15 million metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). The Kolimigundla plant is the fifth integrated plant operated by the company. The project cost of the plant is Rs 30 billion.
