The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender seeking bids for setting up 1,070 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic power projects in Rajasthan (Tranche-III). The solar power developers selected by SECI based on this RFS will set up the solar PV projects on a Build, Own, Operate (BOO) basis in accordance with the provisions of this RFS document and standard Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). SECI will enter into a PPA with the successful bidder for purchase of the solar power generated by the projects for a period of 25 years. The power produced has been earmarked for the Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam.
