Two Liebherr 340 EC-B 16 flat-top cranes are driving efficient construction of the 453-metre Rahmede Valley Bridge on Germany’s A45 motorway. Installed with 75-metre jibs and hook heights of 61 and 65 metres, they support pier assembly and deck slab concreting. Supplied by BKL Baukran Logistik, the cranes offer rapid assembly, stability, and “Load Plus” for 20 per cent extra lifting capacity. Essential for this key north–south transport link, they will stay on site until autumn 2025, ensuring precision and safety throughout the project.
