Wirtgen Group India hosted the Wirtgen Tech Symposium in Maharashtra on 8th July 2025 at its Pune plant. The event also marked several key milestones, including the inauguration of a new workshop, the launch of the Kleemann Screen MSS 1102, and the opening of the Hamm Mini Tandem assembly hall. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Volker Knickel, CEO of the Wirtgen Group, along with the senior leadership team from both Wirtgen Group and Wirtgen India. The symposium highlighted the company’s commitment to driving cutting-edge technologies in line with its market leadership in concrete paving. Expert speakers—Professor D.V. Singh from IIT Mumbai and Vikas Thakar, Managing Director of Pavetech Consultants—shared valuable insights on In-situ Stabilisation of Existing Pavements for Durable Base – Concrete and Flexible Pavements. The event was attended by around 120 esteemed customers from across Maharashtra.
