Vivek Kumar Gupta, an IRSE 1988 batch officer, has assumed charge as Managing Director of National High Speed Rail Corporation, which is the organisation executing India’s first bullet train project.The Union government has named Susanta Kumar Purohit, an Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) officer of 1996 batch as the new Chairman of V O Chidambaranar Port Authority, one of the 12 major ports.  India Sotheby’s International Realty announced the strengthening of its advisory board with the joining of architect Mohit Gujral.He is the son of artist Satish Gujral, who is the brother of ex-PM IK Gujral.  Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dalmia Bharat, will also take on the additional role of CEO and MD of Dalmia (Cement) Bharat. Cement capacity of the company has increased to 44.6 million tonnes.
