The fourth edition of IEEMA Eastern Region flagship event –Energise Empower East - E3 kicked off at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata. Over three days, companies from Eastern India conducted focussed business meetings with a large number of buyers. They spoke about their projects, technology and procurement requirements. In a significant development, large buyers from the utility and non-utility sector shared their procurement plans. The Wind Independent Power Producers Association (WIPPA) announced its 11th Foundation Day Conference in New Delhi. This event marked a significant milestone for WIPPA, as it continues to play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between wind energy developers, independent power producers (IPPs) and government stakeholders to fortify India's wind sector. WIPPA is a national-level registered body of close to 37 wind developers and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) in India.
