Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and National Highways, laid the foundation stone of 25 major National Highway projects from Doda district, which will include a cost of Rs.117.21 bn and have a total length of 257 kilometres. Majorly, out of the total 25 road projects, 18 come in the Udhampur- Kathua- Doda. This project will additionally enhance road connectivity in hilly and far-flung regions of the Jammu division.
