The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has invited request for quotation (RFQ) and request for proposal (RFP) for the construction of the 594 km Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway on the public-private partnership (PPP) model under design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) scheme. This six-lane access-controlled expressway will have a 120 m right of way (RoW) and is designed to be expandable to eight lanes in the future. On the Meerut end, the expressway will be connected to the Delhi-Meerut expressway’s upcoming phase-5.
