GAIL places Rs.305 cr order

GAIL India has placed orders for purchase of steel pipes to supply fuel to fertiliser plants in Bihar. The company has placed orders for purchase of 315 km of line pipes for Auraiya-Phulpur pipeline on Jindal Saw and Essar Steel at Rs 305 crore. It had previously placed orders for line pipes of Phulpur-Dobhi (Gaya) section of the project at Rs 550 crore and awarded laying work contracts for the Dobhi- Patna and Barauni sections at Rs 216 crore.
