IPS places order for third Gottwald crane for Suriname

Integra Port Services NV (IPS) have ordered its third HMK 260E mobile harbour crane from Gottwald Port Technology GmbH for their operations in the public terminal in the river port of Paramaribo, Suriname. Currently two HMK 260E cranes, one new and one used, already operate at the port. In May 2009, the river port commissioned its first-ever mobile harbour crane for handling containers and general cargo. IPS forecasted expansion and opted for a second crane, a factory refurbished HMK 260E. The third crane rounds up the fleet and will be used mainly to handle containers.
