Komatsu launches new machines

Komatsu has introduced an all new version of its mid-20 tonne range machine, the PC210LC-10, that offers grea-ter lifting power, lower fuel consumption and an improv-ed operator environment. In addition, improved serviceability and efficiency together maximise productivity and reduce operating costs. Available in weights up to 23.5 tonne, depending on  specification, the machine is powered by a Komatsu diesel SAA6D107E-2 delivering 123 kW (165 hp) that is Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim certified. An advanced electronic control system manages fuel flow rates, fuel injection and combustion parameters, and after treatment function to optimise performance, reduce emissions and provide an advanced diagnostic function. By using its hydraulically actuated Komatsu Variable Geometery Turbocharger (KVGT) and exhaust gas recirculation, a fuel saving of 10 per cent is claimed for the new engine. Contact: Komatsu.
