Assistedile installs Raimondi flat-top tower crane in Italy

Official Raimondi Cranes agent of Milan, Monza, and Brianza, Italy?s Assistedile Srl., brings its total fleet size to 130 cranes with its newest Raimondi T147 flattop tower crane.

A Class 110 series crane, the T147 is the 107th Raimondi in the company?s fleet, erected for the first time in the country in October 2023. Currently at work in Modena, Italy, on the construction of the new technical and administrative offices of the country?s most renowned automobile manufacturers, Ferrari.

?The deployment of the first Raimondi T147 on this prestigious jobsite represents a milestone for our company. We have of pleasure working on the expansion of Ferrari?s headquarters by renting this model to Ediltecno Restauri, contractor of the project,? stated Luciano Friso, Director General, Assistedile.

Friso continued: ?Assistedile is expanding our rental fleet with our first Class 110 flat-top, further increasing our scope and ability to best serve the country?s construction sector.? The flat-top is freestanding at 42m with a jib length of 45m and a tip load of 3.58t in Ultralift, making it ideal for jobsites of small to medium dimensions.

The crane was deployed onsite by Assistedile?s operations team with the support of a Raimondi field technician to supervise the installation process. The first stage of the jib and counterjib preparation took place at ground level. The T147, with a maximum lifting capacity of 8t at two falls configuration, was erected using a 200t mobile crane over two days. The flat-top is expected to remain onsite for approximately 10 to 12 additional months, until project completion.

?The versatility of this crane, combined with its excellent performance in terms of lifting capacity, corresponds well to current markets requirements. When installed with a 37kW hoisting gear, the T147 can lift at a maximum speed of 105m/min and have a drum capacity of 620m,? Friso explained.

Equipped with the ConCore control system, the Class 110 series cranes boast several technical and operational advancements. End users have access to improved error diagnostics, faster commissioning, and enhanced overall safety, alongside the plusses of mechanical and carpentry part modularity and jib element interchangeability.

?In line with our core values of offering optimal products matched by superior customer service, two Assistedile specialists participated in Raimondi?s in-house product training program to gain insights on practical and theoretical applications of the company?s newest technologies,? highlighted Friso. Assistedile is expected to further build its rental fleet offering with more models from the new Raimondi series.
