CTBUH Announces Award of Excellence Winners for Annual Awards Programme

Winners were selected across a variety of categories, with projects in the “Best Tall Building” track falling into five height thresholds (i.e., under 100 m, 100-199 m, 200-299 m, 300-399 m, and 400 m and above). Additional categories include: Urban habitat, renovation, interior space, and construction, alongside five categories focused specifically on engineering achievements.

“This year’s Award of Excellence Winners communicate the diversity of interdisciplinary thought and innovation that will characterise both current and future generations of urban development around the world,” said Best Tall Building Jury Chair Karl Fender, Director at Fender Katsalidis Architects. “These recognitions, bestowed by the world’s premier authority on tall buildings, showcase these projects to a global audience and help drive a meaningful conversation about the quality of our urban environments.”

The Award of Excellence Winners will now move on to the next stage of the CTBUH Awards Programme, sending the owner/developers and design/engineer teams for the projects to the CTBUH 2020 Tall + Urban Innovation Conference, where they will compete in front of an international audience and live juries for ‘Best in Category’ distinctions. The event will conclude with the announcement of the ‘2020 Best Tall Building Worldwide’.

Lloyds Metals to Build Rs 250 billion Steel Plant in Gadchiroli
