Indiareit raises real estate fund

Piramal Group's real estate private equity firm Indiareit Fund Advisors has raised a capital of Rs 800 crore. Piramal's Indiareit is focused on lending to the real estate and education sector. The company, which has crossed the basic fund size of Rs 750 crore, has exercised the greenshoe option of Rs 250 crore in the wake of the rising demand.
