No stay on Gujarat Housing Board Scheme

Lately, the Gujarat high court has lifted the stay it imposed on the Gujarat Housing Board (GHB). The stay prevented them from allocating the houses of Mukhya Mantri Gruh Awas Yojna or from continuing construction on the site. The plot, initially allotted to the high court employees was used by the GHB for building houses for the poor at Gota. This agitated the high court employees to move the court, pursuing the judge to order the GHB to relocate their plan.Though the single-judge bench turned down their petition, the division bench stayed the GHB from further allocations.
