Palace Gardens awarded for green initiatives

Hirco, a leading developer of sustainable and integrated townships, was bestowed with the GRIHA Award for ‘Exemplary Demonstration of Site Management Practices’ for their project, Palace Gardens in Panvel. This was awarded by ADaRSH (Association for Development and Research of Sustainable Habitats) at the National Conference on Green Design 2012 at Maneckshaw Centre, New Delhi. Santosh Deodhar, Assistant Vice President-Technology, Hirco, accepted the award jointly handed over by Dr Rajendra Pachauri, Director General, TERI; President, ADaRSH; and Chairman IPCC; and Arun Maira, Member, Planning Commission, Government of India.
