His most challenging project till date is the Lake Homes project in Powai, Mumbai. Mohanani has been instrumental in the growth of the organisation and under his guidance, the firm has witnessed a turnover of over Rs 500 crore. With the new government in place, he hopes that the regulatory framework surrounding real estate is rebooted. Mohanani also expects the government to place mechanisms for fast-tracking the approvals for projects. He adds, "The government should come up with easy investment norms, the sector needs fresh investments to sustain, and the government also needs to introduce better monetary policies encouraging banks to finance the sector."
