Redefining Design Possibilities at USG Boral’s Architect Meet

The event demonstrates USG Boral’s products and innovations, as well as introduces its newest Metal Ceilings System portfolio

USG Boral, a global leader in building products technology, organised an Architect Meet at Hotel Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Designed around the theme of ‘Architectural innovations from USG Boral’, the event is targeted at architects and showcased the innovations, trends and best practices for drywalls and ceilings.

The event was launched by USG Boral India’s recently appointed CEO, Sumit Bidani, with KK Sirpal, Director of Architectural & Technical Services, as the keynote speaker.

Speaking on the occasion, Sumit Bidani, CEO, USG Boral India, shared, “At USG Boral, we believe in developing products that empowers our customers, and enable them to build faster and smarter. Through consistent engagement with the community, such as this Architecture Meet, we want to exchange insights and share our best practices so that we can support each other and continue innovating to serve the industry better.”

USG Boral India currently operates two facilities, including a plasterboard and metal plant in Khushkhera, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, and a joint compound and putty plant, in Chennai.

During the event, USG Boral also unveiled its latest metal ceilings system portfolio, which is a high quality, powder-coated metal ceiling panel that is highly compliant with international and the Central Public Works Department of the Government of India standards for performance and safety.

KK Sirpal, Director of Architectural & Technical Services, USG Boral India, said, “When it comes to the needs of our customers, specifically the architect community, we know that they seek innovative designs and seamless finishes. With the metal ceilings system, that is designed to be a versatile solution capable of meeting specific project requirements, architects will now be able to expand their design possibilities.”

Architects and building operators are no longer restricted to just traditional flat ceilings, as the new metal ceilings system allows for various unique designs including perforation patterns and different edge profiles. The system also features customisation with low maintenance and can be easily installed.
