Tamil Nadu has approved plans for a 100 MW PV park, to be set up by Raasi Green Earth Energy, in the first major announcement after the recent launch of the state’s solar-energy strategy. The company will build the array and the associated transmission infrastructure in Ramanathapuram district.The project – over 500 acre including room for massive future expansion – is slated to cost Rs 9.2 bn.
