Universal Construction plans R and D centre

Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment has plans to set up a R&D centre in Pune, with a total investment of Rs 6 crore to develop new products. The project plans to focus on exports to beat the slowdown in the Indian market. The Pune-based company has about 50 products in its portfolio with four verticals catering to mechanisation, concreting, material handling and processes.
