Div Com reviews PMAY-Urban scheme implementation

Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, presided over a meeting of Deputy Commissioners and Housing and Urban Development Department officers to review the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna-Urban (PMAY-U) in the division's districts. Managing Director J&K Housing Board gave a detailed powerpoint presentation and updated the meeting on the current status and phase-wise progress of the PMAY Urban Mission in Jammu division districts.

The Div Com, who also serves as the Chairman of the Divisional Level Committee, took strong note of the slow progress in some districts and directed the DCs to closely monitor the scheme's implementation in their respective districts and hold regular review meetings.
