Hardeep Singh Mundian Inaugurates Projects Worth Over Rs 60 Million

Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian inaugurated infrastructure projects worth over Rs 60 million across several wards in the Sahnewal constituency. Among these, a project costing around Rs 9.8 million for laying sewer lines in Ganpati Vihar (ward number 22) was inaugurated on Tuesday.

The minister highlighted ongoing efforts to upgrade sewer infrastructure and lay new water-sewer lines in wards twenty-one to twenty-five. Tubewells are also being installed where required to ensure potable water supply, especially during peak summer months.

Mundian reaffirmed the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government to sustainable development across the state. Officials have been directed to complete the projects within the stipulated time to benefit the public. Further projects worth billions of rupees are planned in the coming days.

He also announced special cleanliness drives across the city to maintain hygiene and appealed to residents to support authorities in keeping Sahnewal clean and green. Councillor Jaspal Singh Grewal and SDO Kamal were present at the inauguration.
