India Sotheby's Partners With Interiors With Art For Ultra-Luxury JV

India Sotheby's International Realty and UK-based Interiors With Art have formed a strategic joint venture to provide end-to-end design and architecture consultancy for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) in India. The partnership seeks to combine India Sotheby's market leadership with Interiors With Art's 24 years of international design experience serving global billionaires and royal families. The joint venture will target bespoke luxury residences that integrate craftsmanship, technology and personalised service.

The Interiors With Art leadership is presented as a multi-generational team bringing academic rigour and sector experience to the Indian market. The firm's managing director brings corporate and operational leadership grounded in an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and wider experience in Fortune 500 companies. The creative director contributes over 35 years of international design leadership with training at the Inchbald School of Design and specialist studies at Sotheby's and SOAS. The next generation leads wellbeing and technology strategy, blending anthropology, longevity science and AI driven design tools.

The move is timed to capitalise on strong growth in the Indian luxury housing segment where buyers are seeking global standards of sophistication, technology and personalised living. India Sotheby's International Realty operates across 84 countries and territories with 1,100 offices and 26,100 sales associates and reported United States dollar (USD) 157 bn in transactions in 2024. The India team covers major cities and combines private banking and luxury sector expertise to serve a discerning clientele.

The joint venture will deploy a structured design process that begins by understanding client lifestyle and long-term aspirations, using immersive visual tools and curated material libraries to reduce uncertainty and avoid costly changes. Projects will emphasise privacy, health and wellbeing while aligning artisanal traditions with contemporary performance and smart home systems. The partners expect the collaboration to raise standards for ultra luxury residences in India and to offer a comprehensive service from concept to completion.
