Elegant living spaces by Aparna Kaushik

Simplicity, rich materiality and refined aesthetics take centre stage in these living rooms filled with natural light. Aparna Kaushik showcases a collection of stylistically elegant living rooms that celebrate the natural beauty of luxurious materials.

Contemporary white and beige living room

Working with a light colour theme of white and beige, the designer has created a scintillating contemporary space with classic details. The wooden flooring in a chevron pattern with stone border, wall moulding finished in paint and the fireplace made in stone with an antique mirror on top – all elements are composed in a picture-perfect manner to create a harmonious space. An elegant and modern looking chandelier adds to the aura of this living space, while a corner with potted plants breaks the monotony with a dash of green.

A balance of patterns and textures

The designer has used a striking herringbone pattern wooden flooring with a stone border to create a rich base for a living room featuring mesmerising patterns and textures. The fireplace shows off the gorgeous veins of the stone used. Metallic finish accent furniture, abstract paintings and chic chandeliers add glamour to this space. Flooding in of natural light through wall-length doors in this living space uplifts its charm nonetheless.

Sun-drenched living room

This light-filled living room in neutral brown shades offers a clean and chic look ideal for relaxing. Wooden flooring in a chevron pattern combined with the earthy tones adds much warmth to space while a vintage theme chandelier adds to its charm and vibe. A small floral arrangement brings a fresh element to this room.
