K Raheja, IHG Project Marks Pre-Opening in Mumbai

A pre-opening puja ceremony was held for a landmark hospitality project in Powai, jointly developed by the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts, in the presence of Devendra Fadnavis.

The project, led by Vijayta Raheja and Nikhil K. Raheja, will feature a dual hotel complex integrated with a large-format convention centre. The development includes approximately 300 keys, 13 meeting rooms, four F&B outlets, landscaped lawns, and multiple event and public spaces. It is scheduled for completion in 2026.

Positioned as a significant addition to Mumbai’s hospitality ecosystem, the project is designed to cater to both business and leisure segments while strengthening the city’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) infrastructure.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vijayta Raheja highlighted Maharashtra’s investment climate and infrastructure-led growth, noting that such developments reinforce the state’s attractiveness for tourism and global business.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasised the role of integrated hospitality projects in enhancing Mumbai’s positioning as a global destination for tourism and large-scale conventions.

The development underscores continued momentum in Mumbai’s hospitality sector, driven by strategic collaborations and rising demand for integrated business and leisure infrastructure.
