Mayfair Housing adopts Autodesk Forma for digital project planning

Mayfair Housing has entered into a three-year strategic partnership with Autodesk to deploy Autodesk Forma, an AI-enabled cloud platform, as part of its digital transformation programme aimed at improving project planning and execution across its development and redevelopment portfolio.

The platform will be integrated into the company's Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflow to support architects, planners and project teams during the early stages of design and development. Autodesk Forma combines real-world data, environmental simulations and collaborative workflows to facilitate data-driven decision-making before projects move into detailed design and construction.

As part of the implementation, MicroGenesis will serve as the technology partner, supporting platform deployment, process mapping, user training and change management.

The platform will enable project teams to evaluate multiple development scenarios, generate site planning and massing concepts, and analyse environmental factors such as sunlight, daylight, wind, noise and embodied carbon. According to the company, this is expected to improve planning efficiency and reduce design changes during later stages of project execution.

Autodesk Forma also provides a cloud-based collaborative environment that allows architects, consultants, engineers and project teams to access and share project information in real time. The platform integrates with Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, creating a connected workflow from concept design through construction.

Anay Nayan Shah, Joint Managing Director, Mayfair Housing, said the partnership supports the company's objective of creating a more integrated, technology-driven project ecosystem while improving collaboration, transparency and execution across the project lifecycle.

"Join industry leaders at RAHSTA Expo, India's premier platform for roads, highways and traffic infrastructure. Register now to explore innovations, network with experts and shape the future of mobility."
