RM Architects has partnered with Agami Realty to design Agami Legends, a low-density luxury residential development at Kala Nagar in Bandra, Mumbai.Located near the Bandra-Kurla Complex and opposite the MIG Cricket Club grounds, the project has been planned around its immediate urban context, with the site influencing the building’s orientation, façade, balconies, amenities and overall architectural character.RM Architects has envisioned Agami Legends as a contemporary urban pavilion overlooking the cricket grounds. Arched architectural elements have been incorporated into the façade, drawing from the traditional character of sporting pavilions while maintaining a contemporary design language.The development will feature three- and four-bedroom residences with large decks, tall windows and carefully positioned openings. Four-bedroom homes will be oriented towards the MIG Cricket Club grounds, while three-bedroom residences will face the adjoining roads and cityscape. Low-density planning will provide four residences served by four lifts across two lobbies, with separate circulation routes for residents, service personnel and deliveries.Within the residences, social, guest, family and service areas have been planned as distinct zones. Flexible layouts, minimal internal columns and beams, tall windows, eight-foot doors and a floor-to-floor height of around 11 feet are intended to support adaptable and naturally lit interiors.Agami Legends combines a redevelopment component for existing members with a separate sale wing on a plot of slightly more than half an acre. Independent cores have been planned for both wings, with separate lifts, staircases and fire-access systems.The development also incorporates naturally lit lobbies, efficient corridors and an integrated vehicular ramp to address the site’s footprint, height, parking and circulation requirements.Prashant Khandelwal, Director and CEO, Agami Realty, said the project was designed to combine architectural identity, functionality, privacy and long-term liveability while responding to demand for larger contemporary residences in the Bandra micro-market.
