ADS-B plan I to be completed by 2012-end

The first phase of implementation of a surveillance technology for tracking aircrafts is likely to be completed by the end of this year. AAI is in the process of evaluating global tenders for the Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast plan (ADS-B), the station of which, located at Port Blair, will cater to increasing en route traffic in the Bay of Bengal area.
