John Deere Unveils 5130M Tractor at Power & Technology Show

John Deere recently unveiled its new 5M series tractor, the 5130M (130 HP), during the company’s Power & Technology Show 7.0 in India. The launch highlights the company’s continued focus on precision agriculture, smart connected machines and advanced farm technologies aimed at improving productivity and sustainability.

The newly introduced tractor features Front Hitch and Front PTO applications, enabling enhanced operational versatility across a range of farming activities. Alongside the tractor launch, John Deere also presented technologies such as the 5E AutoTrac straight-row vehicle guidance system, the factory-fitted GreenSystem Link connectivity solution, and radial tyre options for the 5405 and 5075E models.

John Deere has maintained a strong presence in India for more than 27 years, delivering advanced farming solutions that support soil health, water conservation and sustainable agricultural practices. The company continues to integrate precision agriculture and digital technologies to help farmers optimise field operations, reduce input costs and enhance crop management.

With significant operations in research and development, engineering, global IT, manufacturing and supply chain, India remains an important hub for John Deere’s global operations. The company also exports agricultural equipment manufactured in India to more than 110 countries, supporting its wider strategy to advance smart and sustainable farming solutions.
