Orient Technologies acquires Red Hut, invests in Athena and AIT for Rs 77.1 Mn

Orient Technologies Limited, a leading provider of digital transformation and IT infrastructure services, has announced the acquisition of Red Hut Innovation Technology Pvt. Ltd. and minority investments in Athena IT & Telecom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and AIT Internet Services Pvt. Ltd. for a combined value of Rs 77.1 million. The strategic move aims to strengthen Orient Technologies’ position as a next-generation digital technology leader delivering integrated solutions across cloud, connectivity, and cybersecurity.

The company has acquired a 100 per cent stake in Bengaluru-based Red Hut Innovation for Rs 57.5 million. Red Hut is known for its managed service provider (MSP) and SD-WAN offerings, and the acquisition aligns with Orient’s strategy to evolve into a fully integrated digital infrastructure company. Additionally, Orient has acquired 46 per cent stakes each in Athena IT & Telecom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and AIT Internet Services Pvt. Ltd.

Athena IT & Telecom Solutions, with a strong presence in South India, brings consulting, integration, and managed service expertise, while AIT Internet Services adds telecom and connectivity strength to Orient’s portfolio. These partnerships are expected to create synergies that enable end-to-end, future-ready solutions across India.
