Start-up launches low-cost EV charging stations
A Jaipur-based tech start-up has launched low-cost peer-to-peer recharge stations for electric vehicles (EVs), powered by a smart micro-mobility platform that works with enterprises across the automotive shared mobility value chain to enable and accelerate their smart vehicle journeys.
The charge stations from BattRE Electric Mobility, supported by REVOS “micro-mobility platform”, will cost Rs 3,000. According to BattRE, they can be installed anywhere and payment for the services offered by the owners can be made directly through UPI.
The government has permitted the establishment of private charging stations at various locations such as residences and workspaces. BattRE plans to setup more than 500 e-charging stations by March 2021.
