Auto cos to invest Rs 7,850 cr in the state

Top automobile companies have committed to invest Rs 7,850 crore in the state in the coming months and have signed MoUs with the government to this effect. These include Ashok Leyland, Nissan, Yamaha, Daimler and Royal Enfield. Ashok Leyland and Nissan Motor Company will invest Rs 4,150 crore in Hosur, Pillaipakkam, Ennore, Vellivoyalchavadi and Oragadam.
