Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Greater Noida on Friday, Uttar Pradesh MSME Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend the opening ceremony, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to participate in the valedictory session. The five-day event will be held from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre and Mart. It will bring together manufacturers, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), exporters, artisans, startups and international buyers, with the objective of expanding business connections and market access for enterprises in the state. The trade show is set to feature more than 2,400 exhibitors, 150,000 business-to-business buyers and visitors, 450,000 general visitors and more than 550 international buyers from 85 countries. Officials said registrations from foreign buyers had been received from 72 countries and were continuing to increase before the event. The fourth edition will highlight Uttar Pradesh’s One District, One Cuisine initiative alongside the established One District, One Product programme. The exhibition will present products and capabilities across the state’s economic ecosystem, while offering local businesses opportunities to attract investment, build partnerships and expand into international markets. Austria, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Belarus and Vietnam will participate as partner countries. The Federation of Indian Export Organisations is supporting international buyer outreach through its Hosted Buyer Programme, which will provide business-to-business matchmaking, networking opportunities and access to business sessions. The event is being jointly organised by the Uttar Pradesh government and India Exposition Mart. Officials attending preparations included Principal Secretary of the MSME Department Shashi Bhushan Lal Susheel, Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Medha Roopam and India Exposition Mart Chairman Rakesh Kumar. The state government has positioned the trade show as a platform for enterprise growth, employment generation and stronger global linkages.
